"These vases are a part of a sculptural series dedicated to the relationship between the sea and the land. And in a way the feminine and the masculine. It is a space where there is a constant exchange of energy, and a space that I consider home. I use my own methods of turning and coiling sometimes up to twenty different pieces of clay together - which has often led to having not only a stronger material but the texture that you see in the pieces.
